I was an Aquaculture student at FIT Jensen Beach Campus from 1978-80, I ran out of money and dropped out, joining the USN in 81. I became a ETC(SW) and earned a BS Occ Ed Dev and an MBA (Comp Info Sys). I worked as a Bus Boy at Francis Langford Outrigger Restaurant and remember the Chanticleer. I kept a windsurfer in the FIT Auditorium backstage and would go out during breaks in my schedule, I would leave a puddle under my desk in Statistics, my Statistics Prof was not a fan! Your article about Francis was great and I’m so saddened (Angry actually) by the greed and disregard of the developers for what Francis had done. I only wish I had the $$ to preserve the land and FrancisLangford’s legacy. The tragedy of their granddaughter was heart wrenching!
