It’s been a while! Hi everyone!

It’s been about a year since I wrote anything. I think about it especially when I’m driving. I’m sure the same things happen to you. It sounds so good in your head and then you get home and poof its gone.

When I first moved to NC I lived in Carrboro. I did like it very much. When I left Florida I felt like I was escaping Giliad. Desantis was making all kinds of crazy changes. I honestly thought he was going to claim Florida as his own make himself king and make Casey his queen.

When I arrived in Carrboro it felt like a warm safe blanket. I was good. I was safe. The people are actually nice. First thing I did was become a sustainer at WUNC our local NPR station. I had already been a fan. I joined a Food Co-op (Weaver Street Market). I started going to the Farmers Market.

I was not in Florida anymore and that was good.

Hillsborough kept calling me.

and now I’m here.

No Kings Day Hillsborough NC

I attended #nokingsday in Hillsborough, N.C. I went specifically there because of it’s incredible history with the revolutionary war.

The protest in Hillsborough was organized by a local group called Concerned Carolinians. They are an local unaffiliated grassroots political action group.

Xavier Adams, Sally Greene Orange County Commissioner  at large and
Retired North Carolina Congressman David Price were also there. Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue with that video. Hopefully someone else got video of them.
