  1. I am a big supporter of medical Marijuana. My father who was terminal ill with cancer in 1980 had a great deal of difficulty with nausea, appetite and depression. He was local business man that had never used drugs in his life other than doctor prescribed but was desperate for some relief. After reading the benefits he decided to try Marijuana for the first time in his last weeks of life which he found quite helpful. A lot of patients with certain illnesses could certainly benefit from it’s use which has been widely documented. The pharmaceutical companies are just fighting against the legalizing of Medical Marijuana for obvious reasons. They’d rather prescribe pain medications like OxyContin which is highly addictive due to it’s profitability. Let’s have some compassion here and pass Amendment 2 giving ailing patients with certain conditions some relief.
