There has always been shenanigans but this year is beyond the pale!

There has been a bit of drama back home in Martin County with the upcoming election. Its slow growth vs developers and the election is for the soul of Martin County. Our friend, Chris Collins, is running for county commissioner. He noticed that some of his signs were missing and decided to put air tags on them and trail cams up. He caught the person. The person works for another campaign for city commissioner. Chris had run against this person when he ran for city of Stuart commissioner.

This is total Florida when something bad but hysterically funny happens at the same time! So the guy is caught. Then he denies the whole thing. Literally they have his photos and the air tags place the missing signs at his house. Chris says “I won’t press charges. Just bring my the signs back! Lets run a clean campaign.” Does this guy do this? No. We (the public) are like wtf bring the signs back and if you don’t then we think law enforcement should get involved?

At this point the candidate who this guy is working for is ignoring the entire situation. Dude! Yes you know who I’m talking to! This did not happen in void despite what good intentions this person had. You can’t tell me you are not responsible for this in some way. Take responsibility. This is not going away if you ignore it.

Crazy but am I surprised? No
