Jacqui: Holy —! Didn’t Gary Goforth say the max for S-80 is 12,000 CFS? How much is this?
Todd: This is normal high-end. ~4000 cfs. In 2004-2005 it looks like they maxed at 5-6000cfs. I’ll graph against the lake stage.
Jacqui: How do u know it’s 4000? I see nothing posted 4 today on ACOE site.

It’s really criminal that our Amendment 1 money was hijacked and years later we are still dealing with such an unbelievable amount of disgusting nutrient-laden water from Lake Okeechobee pouring into our Rivers and one of the most bio-diverse estuaries in North America, the Indian River Lagoon. Shame on those that have allowed this to happen! Shame on those that side with corporations instead of protecting the environment and the health of the people I the community. We have lost business during periods of Toxic Blue Alga which is capable of causing ALS, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Where is the accountability for what has happened? Why are Corporations are allowed to poison our waters;
