I wrote a bunch of Sugar U posts before we all were to attend The Big Sugar Summit which was sponsored by The Sierra Club in Florida.

September 1, 2013,we had a rally in Clewiston Florida called the Sugarland Rally. Environmental activists and residents from Florida’s east and west coasts united in a peaceful demonstration to protest toxic Lake Okeechobee discharges and harmful estuary pollution during the “Lost Summer” of 2013
We did everything we could to pull people together.
